A. James Jones ...

A. James Jones serves as Executive Director for the national one2one Learning Foundation. As a founding member of the one2one Learning Foundation, he joined the organization in a senior leadership role in January 1998 after serving 27 years working with at-risk students at the Milton Hershey School, Hershey Pennsylvania. He is responsible for developing and implementing charter schools, management of their respective school boards, and development of programs that promote educational excellence and administrative efficiencies. Mr. Jones' varied background includes experiences as a classroom teacher, media center director, and school administrator. He has written a variety of articles published in state and national journals dealing with the integration of technology in the learning process. He has served in national leadership committee positions with the American Association of School Librarians, Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and made presentations dealing with technology and its role in the learning process.

Mr. Jones possesses a Bachelors degree, two Masters degrees and pursued graduate studies at Leeds Metropolitan University, Leeds, United Kingdom, in the field of information sciences. Throughout his career, Mr. Jones has been a strong and recognized advocate for children learning to high standards and for schools to service the whole child through the provisions of services that will nurture as well as educate the individual child.
