Honors Academy at National Elite Gymnastics is an open enrollment public charter school in the state of Texas. The program is fully accredited and is recognized by the Texas Education Agency.

Campus Mission Statement

The mission of Honors Academy at National Elite Gymnastics is to equip kindergarten through sixth (6th) grade students with core curriculum and concentrated gymnastics classes. Through individualized teaching in both school and gymnastics studies, the school focuses on improving each student's education while encouraging him or her to be more confident, self-motivated, and better at solving problems.

Students Served

The Honors Academy at National Elite Gymnastics serves young girls and boys that are involved in the National Elite Gymnastics' National Competition Program or other highly competitive athletic programs.

Education Program Description

The Honors Academy at National Elite Gymnastics provides individualized, self-paced curriculum. Teachers offer individualized attention regarding each student academic, emotional, and personal needs.

The curriculum at National Elite Gymnastics includes a full range of courses normally provided in traditional public schools, including all core subjects and a variety of popular electives in a flexible schedule. Honors Academy students attend classes in the same building as the U.S. National Gymnastic Team. This unique school location eliminates the travel time parents would normally incur driving to a separate public school. Each day students spend six (6) hours in class and six (6) hours in practice.

Enhanced Educational Programs

The Honors Academy at National Elite Gymnastics provides young girls and boys the opportunity to receive an excellent education that is specialized to meet their individual needs as well as their various schedules. This campus also offers intense gymnastics classes that will help each student reach his or her full potential.
