Honors Academy at University School is an open enrollment public charter school in the state of Texas. The program is fully accredited and is a recognized state enrollment school.

 

Campus Description

This co-educational school is located in Irving, Texas and allows students easy access to both North Lake College and the University of Dallas.

The mission of Honors Academy at University School is an educational community with a mission to teach the highly motivated student in a strong academic program, while simultaneously providing an environment for their interests and friendships. This program allows students to discover and develop their true potential both academically and socially.

 

Students Served

The Honors Academy at University School serves students in grades 6 &endash; 12. Participating students are from private schools, home schools, and public schools, and are all highly motivated to pursue excellence.

 

Education Program Description

The Honors Academy at University School offers a college-preparatory program for students in grades 6-8, and a college program for students in grades 9-12. The college-prep program provides 6th through 8th grade students preparation for concurrent enrollment opportunities at the high school level. The college program integrates college credit courses into required curriculum, allowing advanced high school aged student an opportunity to excel beyond the limits of a traditional public school.

The Honors Academy at University School offers exceptional students (grades 9-12) the opportunity to integrate college courses into their high school program.
